CapitalBridge Lending (CapitalBridge Lending LLC, "we," "us") provides business-purpose financing for non-owner-occupied real estate investment properties. This notice explains what information we collect from borrowers and applicants, how we use and protect it, and when we share it.
Information we collect
- Contact & identity: name, email, phone, mailing address, date of birth.
- Financial & deal information: the loan scenario, property details, values, experience, and financial information you provide so we can evaluate a request.
- Documents: when a file advances, we may request supporting documents (e.g., bank statements, entity documents, purchase contracts, insurance) which you upload through our secure channel.
We practice data minimization — we don't ask for sensitive identifiers like a Social Security number at initial intake, and request sensitive documents only when they're needed to evaluate or fund a deal.
How we use your information
- To evaluate, process, and (if approved) fund or place your financing request
- To communicate with you about your scenario and next steps
- To service and administer a loan, and to meet legal, tax, and recordkeeping obligations
- To operate, secure, and improve our platform
How we share your information
We share your information only as needed to serve you or as required by law:
- Capital partners / lenders — to underwrite, fund, or place your loan with the appropriate lending source.
- Service providers — vendors that help us operate (e.g., hosting), who may use your information only to provide those services and operate under their own data-protection terms.
- Legal & compliance — when required by law, regulation, subpoena, or to protect our rights.
We do not sell your personal information.
How we protect your information
Security is core to how this platform is built:
- Encryption — your documents and sensitive application data are encrypted at rest (AES-256), and information is transmitted over encrypted connections. We do not accept sensitive documents by email.
- Access controls — staff access requires individual accounts secured with multi-factor authentication, and we limit access to what each person needs to do their work.
- Audit logging — access to your documents is logged.
- Hardened infrastructure — dedicated, firewalled servers with ongoing security maintenance.
No system can be guaranteed perfectly secure, but we apply layered technical and operational safeguards designed to protect your information.
Retention
We keep your information only as long as needed for the purposes above or to meet legal and recordkeeping obligations, and then delete it.
Your choices
You may contact us to ask about the information we hold or to update your contact details. Because we provide business-purpose financing, some choices available for consumer financial products may not apply.
